II. Main Applications
Phase Change Energy Storage Materials With a phase transition temperature of 32 °C and high latent heat, it is applied in thermostatic textiles, building energy storage, battery temperature control and cold-chain transportation of biological reagents.
Reference Standard for Gas Chromatography Calibration reference for hydrocarbon retention index (retention index = 1900), used for qualitative and quantitative analysis of oil products and hydrocarbon mixtures; also applicable as low-bleed chromatographic stationary phase.
Industrial Additives Inert oil-phase reaction medium, eco-friendly lubricant and release agent substituting mineral oil; standard reference material for oil & gas detection.

Hazard Properties
Combustible substance that generates flammable vapor under high temperature. Prolonged contact causes slight skin irritation; heavy inhalation of vapor may lead to dizziness. Long-term or repeated exposure may cause organ damage.
Storage & Transportation Requirements
Seal and store in cool and dry warehouses with storage temperature below 30 °C. Keep away from open flames, heat sources and strong oxidants including potassium permanganate and hydrogen peroxide. Packed in plastic drums or galvanized iron drums and transported as general industrial chemicals.
