N-hexane is an organic solvent with good viscosity. It is often used in rubber food, pharmaceuticals, perfumes, shoemaking, tape, ball making, grinding, leather, textiles, furniture, paint industry, or as a dilution, or as a cleaning solvent, or as a viscose. In addition, it can be a solvent for extracting seed oil (such as soybean oil, cottonseed oil, linseed oil (flax), peanut, safflower oil (safflower), etc.); it can also be a raw material for making polymers; such as polypropylene (polypropylene) and polyethylene (polyethylene).
Preparation Method of N-Hexane
Hexanes are obtained chiefly by crude oil refining. This fraction's exact composition largely depends on the oil source (reformed or crude) and the refining constraints. The industrial product (in general, around 50% by straight-chain isomer weight) is given as the fraction boiling at 65-70 °C.2
Safety Guidelines for Using N-Hexane

The flow rate should be controlled during filling, and there should be a grounding device to prevent static electricity accumulation. When handling, load and unload gently to prevent damage to the packaging and containers.
