3. Main Applications

3.1 Fuel and oil testing (core application)

Standard reference fuel for gasoline antiknock performance. Blended standard fuel is applied in engine knocking tests and octane rating calibration in accordance with ASTM standards. It is also used as a minor base component of gasoline.

Special solvent and standard sample for gas chromatography and liquid chromatography
