Ⅱ. Storage Conditions
Storage Facility Requirements
Store in a cool, well-ventilated, and dry warehouse designated for flammable gases.
Warehouse temperature should not exceed 30°C.
Keep away from ignition sources, heat sources, hot surfaces, and open flames.
Use explosion-proof lighting, ventilation systems, and electrical equipment.
Spark-producing machinery and tools are prohibited.
The storage area must be equipped with gas leak detection alarms and leak emergency response equipment.
Segregation & Clearance Requirements
Store separately from oxidizing agents, halogens, strong acids, and strong alkalis - mixed storage is strictly prohibited.
Minimum clearance of 8 meters between ethylene cylinders and containers of flammable, explosive, or oxidizing gases.
Minimum clearance of 20 meters from air intakes of air-conditioning units and air compressors.
Minimum clearance of 10 meters from open flames or standard electrical equipment.
