HIGH PURITY N-HEXENE

n-Hexene is used to produce plasticizer alcohols. n-Hexene can be oxo-synthesized (hydroformylation) to produce heptanal, which can then be hydrogenated to produce heptanol. Heptanol is used to produce phthalate plasticizers (such as DHP), which enhance the flexibility of plastics like polyvinyl chloride (PVC). n-Hexene is also used to produce surfactants and detergents. Heptanal/heptanol, also produced through oxo-synthesis, is a raw material for producing alkylbenzenes. Alkylbenzenes can be sulfonated to produce sodium alkylbenzene sulfonate, a very important anionic surfactant widely used in household and industrial detergents and cleaners. n-Hexene is used in the synthesis of lubricants and lubricant additives. n-Hexene can be oligomerized to produce polyalphaolefins (PAOs), excellent synthetic base oils with a high viscosity index, good low-temperature fluidity, and high-temperature stability. It is also used to produce other types of lubricant additives, such as ester synthetic oils.

Fine Chemicals: Used in the synthesis of various fine chemicals, including high-grade fatty alcohols, plasticizers, lubricant additives, fragrances, dye intermediates and surfactants.

Other Industrial Scenarios: It is one of the core raw materials for polyalphaolefin (PAO) synthetic lubricants, and also used in the preparation of aldehydes, acids and other organic compounds to support various industrial production processes.
