When people think of gas cylinders, the image that comes to mind is a cylindrical metal container – and this has been the case for the past century, without change. Today, we're going to share a revolutionary new product: a square high-pressure gas cylinder. Aimed at establishing a "smart gas network," this is a "lightweight," "compact," and "intelligent" high-pressure gas cylinder.
The square high-pressure gas cylinder's container is not made of metal, but instead uses a plastic liner wrapped in carbon fiber. Compared to a traditional 10-liter metal high-pressure gas cylinder, the container's weight is reduced by 75%, and the space it occupies is reduced by 90%, making it very compact. It is also equipped with pressure and temperature sensors and an IoT module.
This square gas cylinder has an internal volume of 10 liters, but its external dimensions are small, measuring 363 × 295 × 295 millimeters. Due to its rectangular shape, it offers high load efficiency and is lightweight, including the container body, neck valve, resin cover, and IoT module. It can be easily transported manually, thus promising to reduce the transportation, maintenance, and management costs of high-pressure gas containers.
