n-Pentane R601 Introduction
1. Product Overview
n-Pentane is a straight-chain aliphatic hydrocarbon with molecular formula C5H12 and CAS No.109-66-0. It is a colorless, transparent and highly volatile liquid with slight petroleum odor. It is lighter than water, insoluble in water and miscible with most organic solvents.
Features: low flash point, strong volatility, easy to burn, stable chemical property. Available in industrial grade and high purity grade, widely used as basic chemical raw material.

Physical blowing agent for EPS and PU foam insulation materials
Degreasing cleaning solvent for electronic parts and precision hardware
Raw material for organic synthesis and high-octane gasoline blending
Low-temperature extraction solvent for essence, spice and oil
Low-temperature heat transfer medium and laboratory chemical reagent
