2. Synthetic Resins and Plastics
- ABS resin: A copolymer of butadiene, acrylonitrile, and styrene, it has high strength and good toughness, and is used in automotive parts, appliance casings, toys, etc.
- SBS elastomer: Styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer, used in shoe materials, asphalt modification, adhesives, etc.
- MBS resin: Used for toughening and modifying transparent plastics (such as PVC).
