R290 refrigerant, C3H8. R290 is a hydrocarbon refrigerant - it does not damage the ozone layer and has a small greenhouse effect. It is mainly used to replace refrigerants such as R22 and R502 for low-temperature refrigeration equipment. Since R290 is flammable, it is usually only used in low-temperature refrigeration equipment with a small amount of liquid, or as a component of low-temperature mixed refrigerants. R290 has good compatibility with conventional lubricants.
R290 refrigerant application
R290 refrigerant is mainly used in small refrigeration equipment such as central air conditioners, heat pump air conditioners, and household air conditioners.
Storage and transportation
R290 refrigerant cylinders are pressure vessels and should be kept away from fire and heat sources and avoid direct sunlight. They are usually stored in cool, dry, and ventilated warehouses. When transporting, they should be loaded and unloaded gently to prevent damage to accessories such as cylinders and valves.
Product advantages
R290 refrigerant is the most environmentally friendly refrigerant today. From an environmental protection perspective, almost all countries do not restrict the use of R290 refrigerant during the initial installation and after-sales maintenance of new refrigeration equipment.
